Process Solutions, LLC

Optex Process Solutions, LLC was established in January 2002.  Our mission since that time has been to provide service and support to the extrusion converting industry.  Specifically we look to assist converters in better understanding their extrusion conversion process in order to optimize their extrusion capability for improvements in product quality and process productivity.  Since beginning operation we have participated in more than 60 separate projects with converters that include large Fortune 100 flexible packaging producers and small mom and pop converters.  Projects include basic problem trouble shooting, analysis, and resolution, equipment capability audits, process capability audits, operator / technician training.  We focus on providing solutions.  Through analysis of equipment and process capability we gain an understanding of opportunities for improvement.  Together we implement solutions; through training, through process set up and operation, through machine modification or replacement.  If our individual resources do not meet your specific needs we work to help identify and select the best appropriate resource.  Today our network can bring in additional specialists with unique experience in marketing, product development, equipment modification as well as manufacturing OEM's or raw material suppliers.  The Optex mission is to provide you the right process solution.

Focusing on continuous extrusion process support lets us apply our years of experience in extruder design and process operation to your unique challenges.  Today's business environment has experienced a reallocation of resources that may require temporary assistance with specific knowledge and expertise.  Our services include:
Process Troubleshooting and Analysis
Feedscrew Design
Process Simulation and Modeling*
Training Programs
Machinery and Process Audits
