Optex was started in February of 2002 as a single member consulting service focused on web based extrusion converting. Since then we have grown and expanded with cooperative relationships for services with specialized providers e.g. Compuplast Canada and Circonix Technologies. These relationships allow us to offer more comprehensive solutions to a wider variety of converter needs. In January 2008 we added a second engineer partner, Beth Foederer. Beth further enhanced our capabilities and earned her NYS Professional Engineers License in December. We pride ourselves in developing long term customer relations. We have a robust client list with over 20 OEM’s and 50 converter clients from North America to Europe to South America to Asia. Over 80% of our clients come back for additional projects.
Late in 2008 we acquired a sixteen inch wide co-extrusion coating line. We plan to recondition this equipment and install it in our facility in Fulton NY for our clients development needs.
