Responsibilities included trouble-shooting equipment with Black Clawson field service personnel or customers, averaging 1-2 weeks per month traveling to customer plants for meetings, sales process assistance, training programs and machine start-ups. Assist sales and proposal with technical issues. Prepare extrusion proposals including drawings, specifications and pricing. Have developed and given many training sessions on Black Clawson machinery to new and experienced operators. Responsible for the design and performance of all feed screws, development and documentation all extrusion lab trials and lab maintenance scheduling. Learned how to run cast film and extrusion coating line along with proper cleaning and maintenance such as pulling and cleaning screws, and splitting and cleaning dies.
March 1998 – December 2001:

Design experience in Coating, Drying, Winding, Extrusion Coating, Laminating, and Cast Film machinery. Project management experience for over a dozen projects including responsibility for the successes of a project from pre sale to machine start up. Lead engineer for most of the major extrusion coating projects (responsible for guiding and co-coordinating all other mechanical engineers on these projects).
October 1994 – March 1998:

Responsible for engineering, project management and standards for extrusion coating line with the name Exceline. Prepared all proposals for this product line as well as keeping its standards up to date. Helped devise a system to enable a full extrusion coating line quote to create drawings and specifications in less than four hours.
